21 Jan Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow
To all of our valued customers,
Due to circumstances outside of our control, we wish to advise that after almost 25 years of exhibiting at the Victorian Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow in Melbourne, Bushtracker will no longer be in attendance for the foreseeable future.
Why you ask? The Caravan Industry Association of Victoria board have changed the rules of the show to be accessible for ‘members only‘. Unfortunately, we do not have a Victorian membership, nor are we eligible for one. It seems that our small family owned business falls outside of their guidelines even though we are full members of the QLD, NSW and Australian associations and have a proven track record over the last 25 years of manufacturing quality caravans for customers Australia wide.
We see this as being only detrimental to the public attending the show as they are limiting the attendees to those that the association approves of and keeping out those that are genuinely trying to build a quality product and look after their customers. We see this as a serious restriction of trade, however do not have the time nor the inclination to take it any further.
Being a unique full custom manufacturer and one of the pioneers of off-road, off-grid caravanning in Australia, we feel it’s important that we can make our product available for everyone to view firsthand. Therefore, not to be held back, and to show our commitment to our Victorian customers, we wish to advise that we will be attending the Mornington Great Outdoor & 4X4 Expo in place of the Melbourne show. We are also exploring other avenues in Victoria in which we will make known once more information is available.
